unique wood carvings started all the way in madhurai over two hundred years ago and later migrated to kallakurachi, tamilnadu.
It all started with carving out ploughs for the farmers since they were very much in use and they weren't many people who used to do that and then the focus started to shifting on carving the wheels of small chariots for carrying idols of lord and were joined with the other builders for building up the whole chariot. They were so dedicated and perseverant that they were given the work of carving idols. Later even after decades we stand strong and work with the same perseverance and hard work which was passed on from our ancestors.
